Barcelona advanced to the semi-finals of the UEFA Champions League after beating Paris Saint-Germain 3-1 in a thrilling quarter-final match on Wednesday.
Luis Suarez gave Barca an early lead in the 3rd minute, but Neymar equalised for PSG just 25 minutes later. The game was then turned on its head in the 40th minute when PSG defender Layvin Kurzawa inadvertently turned the ball into his own net.
Barcelona then took control of the game and Lionel Messi made it 3-1 from the penalty spot in the 50th minute. PSG pushed for a second goal, but Barcelona held on to secure a hard-fought victory.
The win sees Barcelona reach the semi-finals of the Champions League for the first time since 2019. They will now face Bayern Munich in the semi-finals, with the first leg to be played on 14 August.
PSG, meanwhile, will be left to rue a missed opportunity. They were the better team for much of the game, but ultimately they were undone by their own mistakes.
