LeBron James Led the Way with 27 Points, 11 Assists, and 10 Rebounds
In a thrilling Game 7, the Cleveland Cavaliers defeated the Boston Celtics 100-96 to win the Eastern Conference Finals and advance to the NBA Finals.
The game was close throughout, with neither team leading by more than five points at any point. The Celtics took a 50-47 lead into halftime, but the Cavaliers came out strong in the third quarter and took a 75-68 lead into the fourth.
The Celtics fought back in the fourth quarter and tied the game at 94 with just over two minutes remaining. However, LeBron James hit a jumper to give the Cavaliers a 96-94 lead, and then made a steal and hit two free throws to seal the victory.
James finished the game with 27 points, 11 assists, and 10 rebounds. Kevin Love added 23 points and 15 rebounds, and Tristan Thompson had 10 points and 10 rebounds.
For the Celtics, Kyrie Irving led the way with 24 points. Jayson Tatum added 22 points, and Al Horford had 20 points.
The Cavaliers will now face the Golden State Warriors in the NBA Finals, which begin on May 31st.
